MediTalent is recruiting for a Nurse Associate to work for our client - a leading healthcare provider based in Somerset. The hospital is led by some of the South-West's most experienced consultants offering a wide range of treatments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care under the supervision of registered nurses and healthcare professionals.
- Assist with patient admission, transfer, and discharge processes.
- Monitor and record vital signs, promptly reporting any changes to the nursing team.
- Support patients with hygiene, comfort, and mobility, promoting dignity and independence.
- Conduct medical history reviews and relevant clinical tests to support pre-assessment care.
- Contribute to discharge planning to ensure a safe and smooth transition for patients.
The right candidate:
- Registered Nursing Associate on the NMC Register
- Minimum 2 years experience working as Band 4
- Nursing Qualification equivalent to band 4
- Experience in ward/inpatients/medical environment with a knowledge and understanding of medical procedures
- Good communication skills
