MediTalent is seeking a skilled and dedicated Recovery Nurse to join our client's team in a premier private hospital in Nottingham. This state-of-the-art facility offers a wide range of surgical procedures, including ENT, gynaecology, general surgery, minor and major operations, as well as cosmetic procedures, providing an engaging and varied caseload for the successful candidate.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality post-operative care to patients recovering from anaesthesia.
- Monitor patients' vital signs and ensure their comfort and safety during recovery.
- Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure seamless patient care.
- Assist in the preparation of the operating theatre and equipment.
- Maintain accurate patient records and communicate effectively with the healthcare team.

Requirements:
NMC or HCPC Registration: Candidates must possess a valid Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) or Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) pin, ensuring that you are recognized as a qualified professional in the healthcare field.
Customer Care Experience: Proven experience in customer care is essential. This includes:
- Interacting effectively with patients and their families, especially in challenging situations.
- Demonstrating empathy, patience, and problem-solving skills to address concerns and provide reassurance.
Theatre and Recovery Experience: Previous experience in a theatre setting, particularly in recovery, is crucial. This may involve:
- Assisting in the recovery process post-surgery, monitoring patients, and providing support as they regain consciousness.
- Familiarity with theatre protocols and procedures, contributing to a safe and efficient recovery environment.
