Location: North London
Pay: Up to £42,000 - plus paid enhancements & benefits
Hours: Full time and Part time is available - Flexible working pattern.

MediTalent is seeking a dedicated and experienced Scrub Nurse to join our client's team at a modern private hospital in North London, specialising in ophthalmic surgery care.
This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a dynamic team focused on providing exceptional patient care in a state-of-the-art facility.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in Surgical Procedures: Provide direct support to the surgical team during ophthalmic surgeries, ensuring all necessary instruments and materials are prepared and sterile.
- Patient Care: Ensure the safety and comfort of patients before, during, and after surgical procedures.
- Collaboration: Work effectively within a multidisciplinary team, including surgeons, anaesthetists, and other nursing staff.
- Continuous Learning: Engage in learning opportunities to expand your skill set and stay updated on new techniques and practices in ophthalmic care.
- Maintain Standards: Uphold the highest standards of patient care and hygiene in the operating theatre.
Candidate Requirements:
- Professional Credentials: Valid NMC (Nursing and Midwifery Council) or HCPC (Health and Care Professions Council) PIN.
- Educational Qualifications: Degree or qualification in Ophthalmology or Perioperative Care.
- Relevant Experience: Prior experience as a theatre nurse; all disciplines are welcome to apply, including Operating Department Practitioners (ODPs). Experience in ophthalmic surgery or scrub nursing is highly beneficial.
- Team Collaboration: Proven ability to work effectively within a diverse team.
- Personal Attributes: Enthusiastic and eager to learn. Organised and capable of managing multiple tasks. Strong problem-solving skills.
